Two-hundred and Ten: Shocker

Dawn is sifting through the sieve of the shutters,
as I lie, owl-eyed, in the dent of my cold bed.
I was unnaturally thirsty today. I had
my tears on tap, a fresh barrel, and
I drank until it was empty. Then
I looked for a radio so I could
listen to the past but it was
a bad idea. Water and
electricity don’t mix
well. What a
shocker.
